More Scrappy Fun!!!

I have been hard at play...ahem... I mean, WORK for this reveal of work for A Walk Down Memory Lane. I LOVED the goodies I got this month and have done some work I am REALLY happy with!

This first one features the Bella Blvd. line called Super Stud! It was SO much fun to work with and I can't wait to get my hands on the new Bella stuff!!

Your Future's So Bright:
I have had this title kicking around in my head for a while now and finally got the PERFECT photos to go with it! And, the Daisy Bucket Love You line of paper was a perfect fit, as well. And, I snuck some Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps in there, too! (All CHF stamps are 25% off at AWDML this month!!!) I have been working so hard on doing more journaling, but the more I worked on this one, the more I realized that the photos and the title say it all...

B(r)otherly Love:

And, this Valentine was made with more of the Daisy Bucket Love You papers and Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps. I know a good friend that could use a pick me up, and I have a feeling she will see this in the mail soon! ;)
Don't forget about AWDML's featured manufacturers this month: SEI and Cornish Heritage Farms! You now get 25% off all featured manufacturers for the whole month!! Run, don't walk!! And, Lisa is headed to CHA this weekend, so keep your eye on the "What's New" section of the store to see all the goodies that she picked up! I know I can't wait!!!
Have a great day!!

AWDML REVEAL DAY!!!

I just love reveal day at AWDML!! Today I get to share what I have been up to with our featured manufacturer, SEI. The paper line I used was "Smarty." The colors in this line worked perfectly with the photos that I wanted to get scrapped!! And, starting in 2010, Lisa is offering 25% off all monthly Featured Manufacturers!!! And, we now have TWO featured manufacturers! You will be seeing some Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps, too!!

First up is "Those Crazy Kennedy's." This LO is about my friend's kids and how wonderful they are to my kids. Even though they are all older (in college and beyond), their social lives stop when my kids come over and they have so much fun together! I believe in my heart, that the true measure of a person is how they treat my kids, and the Kennedy family is TOP NOTCH!! Love you guys!!
On to "Just Kickin' It." This is Colby's soccer portrait from this fall. And, the LO is a scraplift of the gorgeous and talented, Kim Holmes. If you get a minute, check out her work-- she is AMAZING!!
And a Birthday card. I thought this SEI paper would be perfect for a more masculine birthday card. I started with a sketch from Lucy Chesna, and then went off on my own tangent. Love how it came out!
It's going to be a great month at AWDML! Stop by the DT Blog and check things out!!

A Walk Down Memory Lane December Fun!!

December has been wildly busy, but we have been having fun at A Walk Down Memory Lane! This month's featured manufacturer is American Crafts! So, for the entire month of December, ALL American Crafts products are 15% off! WOOHOO!!

Here's a LO I did using the "
Everyday" collection from American Crafts, as well as their cardstock and their Thickers.
Here's a simple card using the same collection:
And, here's the sign I made for Elizabeth's room, again using the Everyday Collection. I made one for Colby a few months ago and she has NOT let me forget that I needed to make one for her, too!

My sweet boy is 6 years old!! I can't believe how fast it's going! Here's a LO that uses some
Pink Paislee Amber Road and the journaling tells of some of the things he loves at Six!

This LO was made with the gorgeous Alissa line from Bo Bunny as well as some AC Cardstock and Thickers. And, my Martha Stewart Doiley Lace Edge Punch got quite a workout, too!

I LOVE how this card came out!! I recycled the packaging from some Fancy Pants Crocheted Flowers and then used my circle cutter to cut my cardstock. Then, I attached the Three Bugs paper to the back and filled it with some glitter. The result: A Snow Globe Card!
This banner was inspired by "Mimi", a fellow scrapper that made a gorgeous banner using acrylic mitten shapes. This was a lot of fun to make and the Three Bugs Let it Snow Caboodle Kit had the perfect paper for it!

Thanks for checking in! I am excited to stay on at A Walk Down Memory Lane for the month of January, and hopefully even longer! This has been such a fun DT to be on and I really feel like I have learned a lot. Thanks to Lisa for this amazing opportunity!
Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!!

Happy December 1st!!!

It's the first of the month, so I get to show you some of the fun things I have been working on!

"Just Chilling Out" is based on this month's sketch by Lucy Chesna for My Sketch World. I am so proud to be on her DT! She just posted the DT call for the next term on the forum. Pop over and check it out!

**A quick note- The papers for this LO were a gift from my good scrappy friend, Kristi! They were perfect for this project! Thank you, Kristi!!!!

I was super excited to be asked by Becky Fleck, owner of PageMaps, to create a card as a sample for her December Card Sketches! She sent me the sketch, and here is the card I came up with! You can see the rest of the sketches and projects for the month HERE.

Be sure to check back for some of the FUN stuff that is going on at A Walk Down Memory Lane, too!! I am looking forward to sharing those projects with you!!

Have a great day!!!
