This month I have been working with Little Yellow Bicycle (this month's featured manufacturer at AWDML) and some Scenic Route Garden Grove. It's been a blast and here's what I have been up to!
This LO is a little different for me, but I think that a simple layout on Kraft Cardstock is just what this photo needed.
Journey:
This LO shows my daughter patiently waiting for the bus on her first day of 2nd grade. It seems like she is getting too big, too fast!! The butterfly was made from a template by Helen at http://www.scrap-a-little.com/.
Waiting to Fly:
Here's another card that does not open the traditional way. It was inspired by Dawn Griffith on one of her fabulous YouTube videos. Looooove it! When you untie the ribbon, you pull the triangles to open the card and it becomes rectangle in shape. Check out this image in the AWDML gallery and in the product description, I have included a photo of how it looks open.
My kids have been BEGGING for us to start giving them allowances. So, we decided that each week when they get their allowance, they need to put at least one dollar into "save" but it's up to them if they want to put the remaining two in "spend" (like for impromptu trips to the Dollar Store) or "save" for that one item they are saving for.
Cute stuff!
