Here Fishy, Fishy!

This is one of my FAVORITE photos of my sweet boy!  He was about three years old when this was taken and my parents lived on a lake where he LOVED to go fishing.  He even had his speical fishing hat!  When I saw Scrappin' Sports & More's new fishing paper from their Head On Sports line, I knew just what to do with it!  I used the back side of the paper for the blue background and cut the bobbers out from the front to use as the perfect accents to the page.

Here Fishy, Fishy!

ABC Cards!

The My Sketch World ABC Crop is still ROCKIN' ON at the MSW Forum.  I wanted to share a couple more cards that I made for the crop!

This one is for "I is for Ink."  I misted the white cardstock with "Denim Blue" Glimmer Mist and then colored my stamped image with my new Copic Markers and added a few dots with my trusty Signo pen.  Isn't she CUTE?!

This one is for "G is for Girly Green."  I used some gorgeous Cosmo Cricket Everafter Papers and the GORGEOUS butterfly from Zva creative.  There is a red one and a blue one still left!  ;)
If you haven't stopped over to check out the MSW crop, I would encourage you to come on by!  We have over 60 people participating in the crop so far and almost 500 projects added to the Gallery!!!  What are you waitng for??!

Thanks for stopping by!

Having FUN!!

I've been scrapping my little heart out this week and made some layouts that I'm really happy with!  They fit challenges at a few different websites, which is always good, too!

Miss Elizabeth turned 8 this week, and I took a photo of her the day of her birthday.  I used the fabulous Imaginisce Lucy Bird Papers (available at A Walk Down Memory Lane) and the monthly Imaginisce Sketch, as well.  I was also inspired by a challenge at Scrapbook Deals 4U and wouldn't have even taken this photo, if it weren't for the photo challenges at Dixie Pieces!  Phew!

This layout was also inspired by a challenge at Scrapbook Deals 4U!  It also fits for the D is for Dots challenge at My Sketch World.  And, it uses the exclusive A Walk Down Memory Lane sketch by Kim Holmes that is only available to subscribers to the AWDML Newsletter.  This is one of those times where it's so much cuter in person and the photo doesn't do it justice.  (Dear Santa, I have been a good girl.  Please bring me a scanner!).

I hope you are having a FABULOUS day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sports Head On!

Scrappin' Sports and More's new releases are their calendar papers and their Sports Head On line.  For today's post, I used the Sport's Head On papers.  The designs are so fun to use as is, or to cut them out, like I did with the baseball one!  Check them out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

ABC's are easy as 123!!

I have been able complete a couple of the FUN challenges for My Sketch World's ABC Crop!  The challenges are super fun and we have a TON of people participating!  146 projects were added to the gallery just in the first week!  It's not too late to come and play with us!  Come over to the forum and play!

Here's what I came up with for two of the challenges!  Both projects were made using Echo Park paper and stickers!

B was for BORDER PUNCHES!  I used the opportunity to scrap my FABULOUS trip to Houston with the best scrappy girls on the planet!

C is for Clouds!  I had fun using the Echo Park cardstock stickers to create this fun card!

Have a wonderful day!  Be sure to check back soon to see some projects that were published in Scrapbook News & Review and LOTS more from MSW's ABC Crop!

Getting Caught Up!

I just realized that I haven't been keeping up with the goodies that I have been posting on the Scrappin' Sports & More blog!  So, without any further adieu, here are the rest of the layouts I did featuring SS&M's Custom Line of Papers.  It was so much fun getting to design these papers and I want to thank the gang at SS&M for the opportunity!  A few of these layouts were even featured in the SS&M Booth at CHA in Chicago last week!

Check back again soon and I'll be sharing some of Scrappin' Sports & More's BRAND NEW releases!!

So Glad to be Back!!!

I am so excited to have been asked to re-join the Design Team at A Walk Down Memory Lane!!  It's been a LOOOONG 6 months waiting and hoping for this opportunity, and I am beyond excited that it has come my way!  Thanks to Lisa and the rest of the team at AWDML for this opportunity!!

There are fabulous manufacturers featured this month.  The first manufacturer is Bo Bunny.  I had a BLAST playing with their Peacock Lane and Roughin' It lines of paper.  Here's some of the work I did:

Beauty:

He is All Boy:

Flower Girl:

You can check the DT Blog on August 26th to see a little tutorial on how to make the border around the heart that you see in the Flower Girl layout!

I'll post more fun stuff from Bo Bunny and the featured stamp manufacturer, Unity Stamp Co., on the 15th!  Stay tuned!!
