August 1st Sketch at My Sketch World

2nd Anual ABC Crop at My Sketch World

I can't even begin to tell you....

....the amazing time I had in Houston this weekend.  It was so surreal and I can't believe that it finally came and is already gone.  Thankfully, we took tons of photos and videos.  The ladies that I had the honor of spending the weekend with might just be the most wonderful group of women I have even been around.  And, the talent that was all sitting in one room was intoxicating!  We screamed, laughed, cried, scrapped and did a whole lot of hugging.   The word "incredible" doesn't even begin to describe the weekend, or the women I got to spend it with.  Long Live MSW!!!

New Construction...again!

Well, as soon as I got my blog the way I wanted it, the cute new background that I had became unavailable.  So, I am working on it all over again.  So, please pardon the appearance while I find a new background and create a new header.  Since I'm headed out to Houston on Friday morning, it probably won't happen until I get back.  Thanks for your patience.  I promise to have LOTS to share when I get back!!

Batter Up!!!

I've been at it with more of Scrappin' Sports &More's custom papers!  This one I made to highlight Colby's love of tee-ball, and especially batting!  He swings as hard as possible every time! 

I have really been enjoying SS&M's brand new papers that have yet to be released this week, too!  I can't wait to show those to you-- you are going to LOVE them!!!  *wink, wink*

Bella Blvd Sneaks...

Ode to SNR!

I want to share with you some of my work that was published in the May issue!

Eggtastic was for the "Clean & Simple" Style Spotlight Call. It's based on a sketch by Pamela Young and features my kiddos having a great time doing their egg hung on Easter morning.

Gettin' Hosed was for the "Funny Family Photos" call. Most people immediately thought of the non-furry members of their family doing funny things, but we have a furry member of our family that keeps us laughing all the time- especially when he plays with the hose! There is hidden journaling under the photo (just pull on the tab) that tells the story of Fergus playing with the hose and even occasionally spraying US with it!

Dance was for one of the sketch calls for May. It was a gorgeous sketch! I love the way SNR does their sketches- you get to see the sketch and then several different takes on it- different styles, adding photos, rotating the sketch, changing the balance and weight, and even using it for cards, altered projects and ATC's!
