Well, I have finished the Christmas present for my sweet Memere...better late than never, right?!! For those of you who don't know what a Memere is, she is my grandmother. Memere is the French-Canadian word for "Grammy." She is super special and still going strong at 89. Getting her a gift is always hard because she has everything she needs and really doesn't have room for more knick-knacks. So, I decided to bug my cousins for pictures so I could make her a "brag book" of all of her 9 Great-Grand children. I used mostly "school photos" because they are the perfect size (and that's what they sent me :) ).
I am only posting a few of the pages here. If I get permission from my cousins, I will add their kids' pages later. For now, you have the cover...
I need to interject some thanks here---> Thank you, Libby for helping me with how to make this cover!! It came out beautifully!! You rock, girlie!!
I wanted to include this page. It is the back page of the album and has my little note to her along with a photo. Isn't she gorgeous!!??!!Here is Colby's page:
And, here is Elizabeth's page:
I used a Bo Bunny 6"X6" chipboard 3-ring binder album. And, I used mostly scraps for the pages. I learned a lot doing my first mini album, that's for sure! I will do some things differently next time, but I think Memere will love it, just the same!
Thanks for looking!!!
Gorgeous work Nicole! I'm sure she's gonna love it!
